The Hublot Big Bang MP-11 is a mechanical manual-winding watch with a 7-barrel movement for a two-week power reserve. This technical feat is the result of exceptional watchmaking expertise, which is reflected in a unique and different construction. The 7 barrels are coaxial and vertical and are not integrated into the thickness of the movement but are physically in front of it and follow an opposite axis, at 90°. To ensure that the 336 hours of power reserve reach the movement, Hublot had to design a custom-made device, a 90° transmission by a helical gear wheel, following the principle of a screw.
