Maserati, the Italian sports car manufacturer, has just unveiled its brand new electric convertible, the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore. With its performance worthy of an electric car, its Italian elegance, this supercar is sure to turn heads and seduce luxury car enthusiasts.

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is equipped with an electric propulsion system based on a high-performance battery. This system, which has been developed from technologies used in Formula E, offers interesting performance while guaranteeing the comfort and elegance that one expects from a car made in Italy.

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is the fastest electric luxury car on the market. It is equipped with three permanent magnet electric motors that allow it to reach impressive speeds in no time. Moreover, like its GranTurismo version, the GranCabrio perfectly combines the performance of a sports car with comfort suitable for long trips.
Optimal comfort for four passengers
This beautiful Italian offers four real seats with optimal comfort, even for long trips. Moreover, its retractable soft top offers reduced dimensions, leaving enough space for the luggage of four people. This top can be operated while driving at a maximum speed of 50 km/h and opens in just 14 seconds. The commands on the central screen can be operated with just one finger, without the driver having to take their eyes off the road.
It also offers thermal and acoustic comfort, even when driving with the top down. It is equipped with a neck heating system that allows you to drive with the top down, even when temperatures drop. Moreover, a windshield reduces turbulence in the cabin for optimal comfort.
The Folgore is equipped with an innovative technical architecture that uses lightweight materials such as aluminum and magnesium. This multi-material approach has required the creation of new manufacturing processes, which has made it possible to obtain optimal weight levels in its category, i.e. 2,295 kg.
The 100% Italian luxury convertible is equipped with electronic systems signed by Maserati: the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA), the latest infotainment system, a comfort screen that groups the main functions in a touch interface integrated, a digital clock and a head-up display (optional). Moreover, the Sonus faber 3D sound system offers an immersive sound experience.
An Italian to the batteries.
The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is equipped with a battery produced at the Mirafiori Battery Hub plant in Turin, Italy. This battery delivers approximately 750 hp to the wheels, which allows the GranCabrio Folgore to offer exceptional performance: the 0 to 100 is done in 2.8 seconds and the top speed is 290 km/h.

A distinctive sound for an immersive driving experience.
An Italian without its song! A Maserati without its vocalizations …! To remedy this, the engineers of the Maserati Innovation Lab have recreated the distinctive sound of the Maserati V8. This sound is broadcast through the 3D immersive Sonus faber sound system, thus offering an immersive driving experience.
The launch date has not yet been announced, as well as the price of this new Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, but it will cost no less than 196,950 euros, excluding options.
