Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier Inc. announces the new Challenger 3500. He presents this magnificent business jet at an exclusive ceremony held live in Montreal. The new Bombardier Challenger 3500 is an evolution of the successful Challenger 300. The Challenger 300 series has been a best-seller for almost 20 years. This success is guided by Bombardier’s customer-centric philosophy. With the focus-group approach, Bombardier knows exactly what the customer wants and how to deliver it.
This new aircraft deploys innovative technological features, reinforcing the leadership status of Challenger aircraft.
The latest-generation Challenger 3500 offers a redesigned cabin interior, with intelligent, eco-friendly features designed in line with Bombardier’s environmental objectives.
Combining comfort and functionality, the cabin is of course equipped with Bombardier’s exclusive, patented Nuage seat. The cabin of the new Bombardier Challenger has a capacity of 10 passengers.
In its global approach to passenger well-being, Bombardier presents a new and improved Challenger with a maximum operating cabin altitude of 13,716 m, a 31% improvement over the Challenger 350. The cabin is wider, more spacious and offers a revolution of innovative technologies, such as in-cabin voice commands to control lighting, temperature and entertainment systems, wireless chargers distributed throughout the cabin, and 24” 4K screens. The cab design is entirely new. It features sober side edges and seamless surfaces in a multitude of finishes.
The Challenger 3500 offers impressive performance, consistent reliability and exceptionally smooth flight. It enhances the cabin experience for customers, delivering a truly exceptional cabin experience. The Challenger 3500 business jet also features a functional and stylish galley.
In the cockpit of the Challenger 3500, Bombardier has integrated an autothrottle system into the basic equipment, which is the most complete in its class.
The aircraft has a range of 6,297 km and a top speed of Mach 0.83. This performance enables it to fly from London to Dubai. The Challenger 3500 has access to the most difficult airports.
Bombardier’s new business jet is scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2022.
